BACKGROUND
Jeh-Faith International School was originally established in 2010 as Faith International School by Engr. Ugute Israel (Director) and Mrs. Phoebe Ugute (Proprietress). It has since grown and evolved into what is now known as Jeh-Faith International School, driven by a vision to provide quality education and promote academic excellence.
MOTTO: Determination leads to success.
OUR HUMBLE BEGINNING AND EARLY CHALLENGES
Jeh-faith started with a low population of about 20 to 25 pupils in the nursery and primary classes. The pupils from the upper basic class, primary 5 graduated into JSS 1. Since then, a remarkable growth has been recorded despite challenges. The building was not completed, of which some people were mocking and making jest of the new beginning.
Jeh-faith had only one bus, most students go back home late due to the delay of moving round dropping each student in their respective bus stops by one bus.
OVERCOMING FINANCIAL CHALLENGES
In the early years, Jeh-Faith International School faced difficulties in the prompt payment of staff salaries due to limited funds. At times, the school had to borrow from individuals to meet its financial obligations. Despite these challenges, the staff remained cooperative and committed, continuing to work diligently even under financial strain. Over time, the situation improved significantly. Today, the issue of delayed salaries is a thing of the past. With a dedicated team of over 50 staff members, the school now operates without borrowing to meet salary obligations, a testament to its growth, resilience and responsible financial management.
